WorkforceMagazine Launches Workforce Live!
Four-City In-Person Event to Be Followed by a Virtual Event on HCM-TV
Chicago, June 28, 2013 — Workforce magazine has announced the launch of Workforce Live! For the first time in its 91-year history, Workforce will bring its readers together to network and share best practices. The live in-person events will take place Sept. 10 in New York, Sept. 24 in San Francisco, Oct. 15 in Atlanta and Oct. 29 in Chicago. All presentations from the four-city event will be broadcasted Nov. 12-13 on the magazine’s virtual platform, HCM-TV.
Attendees will have direct access to the insight of HR practitioners and thinkers and will learn firsthand what it takes to become an employer of choice.
“The intersection of business strategy and people management is very busy right now,” said Ed Frauenheim, associate editorial director at Human Capital Media. “These Workforce Live! events will help executives navigate a host of critical issues, ranging from implementation of the Affordable Care Act to the rise of contingent labor strategies to the need to become an employer of choice in an era of greater corporate transparency.”
Topics discussed include (but are not limited to) engagement, targeted benefits and efficient culture. Nine speakers in each city will touch on the importance of attracting, recruiting and retaining employees. All presentations will be rebroadcasted on HCM-TV and available for 90 days following the initial broadcast, extending the reach to thousands of executives worldwide.
