It’s time for March Madness! For college basketball fans, madness means the annual NCAA tournament — a round-ball free-for-all featuring 68 teams duking it out to determine the best team.

I’ll tell you what else is madness — the fact that there’s still a 5-foot high pile of snow in my front yard. Winter has been brutal for your Workforce editors here in Chicago. I’m not getting much sympathy from many of you, I know. Our friends in Palm Beach, Florida, reportedly hit a low temperature of 39 degrees in January. Boo-hoo.

The good news? March means that winter is just about over. It’s also the beginning of our new season of Workforce Live, our six-city event series featuring presenMike Prokopeaktations from more than 50 HR leaders. Hope you can join us for our own version of March Madness!
