Andrea Dropkin rose through the ranks of Cubist Pharmaceuticals, and now she’s returning the favor by helping to keep the company’s talent pipeline full.Andrea Dropkin

She started with Cubist in 2009 as a human resources intern and has since advanced to her current position as the manager of university relations and contingent workforce. Her responsibilities include leading and managing an intern/co-op program that takes an average of 70 people through a full onboarding program and weekly learning programs that culminates in a poster session. Her efforts support the business across all functions. 

Dropkin, 25, also designed and launched the Cubist Campus Champions Program, which partnered the company with a dozen universities to create campus ambassadors who promote the company as an employer of choice.

Colleagues praise her ability to manage multiple projects and engage with industry stakeholders at such an early point in her career.
