Bringing in the “best” candidate is one thing; bringing in the best candidate for your organization is another.
That’s why Brent Daily, 38, co-founded RoundPegg Inc., which, through analytics, produces culture management cloud software to help companies hire candidates who better fit the company’s culture and get them to stay there longer.
Daily said his previous job inspired him as he was a “misfit within the company,” according to his RoundPegg bio—or more bluntly it was a “brilliant failure,” according to Daily’s Game Changers nomination form.
The company uses Web apps to help companies measure, manage and monitor culture. In a 2011 story on TechCruch, the technology news site called the company an “eHarmony for jobs.”
“What Brent and the RoundPegg team have built is something totally unique,” says Aliza Scott, vice president, human resources, for Tripwire Inc., in Daily’s recommendation form. “I’m incredibly impressed with how they’ve identified something that can make such a difference while being so easy to use.”
