People moving into key executive positions

Jamie Minier has been promoted to COO of the RightThing Inc. Minier had been vice president of the RightThing since 2004.

Michael Sternklar has joined Mercer HR Services as COO. Sternklar joins Mercer from Fidelity Investments, where he most recently served as executive vice president of client services and sales.

Paul Steven Henry has been appointed vice president of product development at MassMutual Retirement Services. Henry comes to MassMutual from John Hancock, where he was head of retirement services management teams.

Monica Burmeister has joined Hewitt as global chief of consulting operations. Burmeister was head of Hewitt’s global benefits consulting business as well as leader of Hewitt’s retirement and financial management business. Most recently she was head of the North American consulting business at Hewitt.

Rachele Soja has been appointed leader of North American consulting operations at Hewitt. Before her appointment, Soja was the North American client accounts leader for Hewitt’s benefits outsourcing business. She has been with Hewitt for 15 years.

Andrew Bell has been appointed global leader of talent and organization consulting at Hewitt. Bell has been with Hewitt for eight years. Most recently he was talent and organizational consulting leader for Hewitt’s Asia-Pacific region.

Joanne Dahm has been appointed talent and organizational consulting leader for the North American region at Hewitt. Prior to her appointment she led marketing efforts for Hewitt’s talent and organizational consulting business.

Colleen Cunningham has been named managing director of the Tri-State region for Resources Global Professionals. Previously, she was president and CEO of Financial Executives International.

Warren Kerper has been named managing principal of the Boston office of Sullivan, Cotter and Associates. Before joining Sullivan, Kerper was leader of the tax-exempt organization compensation consulting business for Mercer Human Resource Consulting.

Al Campa has joined Taleo Corp. as chief marketing officer. Most recently, Campa was the founding CEO at JasperSoft.

Randy F. Wallake has joined Securian Financial Group as president of the company’s board of directors. Wallake joined Securian in 1987 as sales vice president for the company’s retirement plan unit. He was promoted to executive vice president of Securian’s insurance businesses.

Cynthia Hedricks has been appointed chief analytics officer at SkillSurvey.

Richard S. Hauptle has been appointed U.S. sales director at Meta4. Hauptle comes to Meta4 from Empagio, where he was vice president of sales for the eastern region.

Cecil Hemingway has been named retirement practice leader at Aon Consulting. Prior to joining Aon, Hemingway was managing principal and head of the legacy pension solutions practice at Towers Perrin.

Melanie Holmes has been appointed to the Job Corps advisory committee by the U.S. Secretary of Labor Elaine L. Chao and Job Corps national director Esther Johnson. Holmes is vice president of corporate affairs at Manpower Inc.

Michael R. Bluntach has joined First Advantage Investigative Services as surveillance manager. Bluntach worked for 11 years in the special investigations units of CAN Insurance Highlands Insurance Group.

Brian Stenklyft has joined BeneTrac as regional sales director. Most recently, he was district manager at Automatic Data Processing.

Daniel Croley has been named vice president of network development at Delta Dental of California, Delta Dental of Pennsylvania and their affiliates. Most recently Croley served as dental director of Delta’s central region. Prior to coming to Delta Dental, Croley worked in a private dental practice in Chicago.

Michael T. Frank has joined Morrison & Foerster as a partner. Frank comes from DLA Piper, where he was a partner.

Olivia Cook has joined SelectMinds as account manager. Prior to SelectMinds, Cook worked as a consultant at Bain & Co.

Dana Grutchfield has been named vice president of business affairs at FrankCrum. Prior to joining FrankCrum, Grutchfield was an attorney with DLA Piper.

Ed Trolley has been named vice president of learning outsourcing services at Affiliated Computer Services.

Jim Caldwell has been appointed director of corporate finance at Sequent. Prior to joining Sequent, Caldwell was vice president of operations and finance at Trinity Lutheran Seminary.

Jeff Kolda has been appointed director of sales at Sequent. Most recently he was a sales and marketing executive at LeaseNet.

Chris Matz has been named director of trust operations at Sequent. Prior to joining Sequent, Matz spent 12 years as director of operations with a multi-employer trust fund in Chicago.

Gloria Lesmeister has joined Buck Consultants as principal and retirement practice leader. Lesmeister comes to Buck from Watson Wyatt Worldwide, where she was a senior actuary

Robert E. Hallagan has joined Korn/Ferry International as vice chairman and managing director of the board leadership services practice. Prior to joining Korn/Ferry, Hallagan was vice chairman and CEO of Heidrick & Struggles.

Donna A. Tschoepe has been named vice president of human resources at sales training and consulting company Richardson. Prior to joining Richardson, Tschoepe operated her own HR consulting practice. Before this, she was chief administrative officer and senior vice president at CDNow. She was also with Bertelsmann in a wide array of positions, Fleet Credit Card Services as senior vice president of human resources and a consultant for seven years with Manchester Partners International (now Right Management Consultants) as a director of HR.

Lane Miller has been named vice president of human resources at Comcast-Spectator. Most recently she was director of HR for Global Spectrum, a subsidiary of Comcast-Spectator. Prior to joining Comcast-Spectator in 2004, Miller was COO of Mei Fa/Shaune Bazner Accessories. She also served as regional director for Borders Books and Music from 1991 to 2000.

Cynthia Augustine has joined Scholastic Corp. as senior vice president of human resources and employee services. Augustine is also part of the company’s management executive committee. Prior to joining Scholastic, she was senior vice president of talent management for Time Warner. Before Time Warner, she was senior vice president of human resources at the New York Times Co.

Chris Michalak has been appointed head of business development and growth for Aon Consulting. Michalak comes to Aon from Buck Consultants, where he was CEO. Before working at Buck, he was global director of sales, strategy and operations at Towers Perrin.

Dhirendra Shantilal has been promoted to senior vice president of Kelly Services’ Asia operations. Shantilal joined Kelly Services in 2000. Previously, he was vice president and managing director of Kelly’s Asia operations.

Juliet Deitz has been appointed director of human resources at the Bedford Springs Resort, part of Benchmark Hospitality International. Prior to joining Bedford Springs, Deitz was director of operations for the Raleigh Hotel.

Peggy Taylor has joined the board of directors at HireRight. Taylor is the former president of PeopleSoft Investments. Most recently, she was managing partner at B3 Ventures.

Richard Ricks has been named president of global outsourcing services at Computer Sciences Corp. Before joining CSC, Ricks was president of CSC’s business development unit. He joined CSC in 2003 from Nortel, where he was chief information officer.

Bill Bergen has been named senior vice president and chief information officer at Workscape. Bergen joined Workscape as director of information technology and customer support. Most recently, he was in charge of creating and leading the company’s new corporate standard multi-tenant product architecture.

Ben DeBerry has been named president of the Carlyle Group. Before joining Carlyle, DeBerry was managing director and global practice leader at Edward W Kelley & Partners.

Jim Del Rosario has joined TalentFusion as vice president of sales. Most recently, he was vice president of Veritude. 

Richard V. Jarmusik has joined Ciber as vice president and business unit leader of civilian programs. Jarmusik comes to Ciber from Computer Sciences Corp., where he most recently was vice president of federal benefits programs.

Anurag Jain has joined Perot Systems as leader of the company’s consulting and applications solutions group. 

David Huntington has been named president and chief operating officer of PAI. Huntington previously worked for BlueCross/BlueShield as vice president of large-group marketing.

Brandy Lesmann has joined Hawthorne Executive Search as executive recruiter. Prior to joining Hawthorne, Lesmann had her own business.

Marti Davis has joined Aztech Professional Services as vice president of its Scottsdale, Arizona, office. Previously, Davis worked for Manpower Professional as regional recruiting manager.

Michael W. Lamach has joined the board of directors at information protection and storage services company Iron Mountain. Lamach is senior vice president and president of the security technologies sector at Ingersoll-Rand.

Judith Russell has joined Bernard Hodes Group’s health care division as a consultant. Prior to joining Hodes, Russell was vice president of the health care sector/client strategy for TMP.
