People moving into key executive positions

Tracey Gray-Walker has been named chief diversity officer at AXA Equitable Life Insurance. She previously served as the company’s vice president of business development and opportunities. She has held several positions at the company, including financial manager of the Northeastern region for retail distribution and assistant vice president of customer marketing and lead generation.

Felicia Fields has been named group vice president of human resources and corporate services at Ford Motor Co. She previously held several HR executive positions at Ford, most recently serving as vice president of human resources. Andrea Ayers has been named president of customer management at Convergys. She also serves as president of the company’s new relationship technology management line of business. She previously served Convergys as general manager of the direct-broadcast satellite business unit and as a business unit president.

Convergys has made two additional appointments:
Jim Boyce has been named president, North America, at Convergys. He previously held several executive positions at Procter & Gamble, including vice president for worldwide customer business development, e-business.
Deborah Ellis Timberlake has been named global payroll leader for Convergys’ HR management business. Before joining Convergys, she served as the global process lead for IBM HR Outsourcing. She previously held executive positions at Hewitt/Exult and ADP

William Tate has been named president of staffing services at Spherion. He joined Spherion after serving as vice president and general manager for Manpower’s U.S. professional division. Prior to Manpower, Tate was vice president and general sales manager at Moore North America.

Michael Fry has been named senior vice president of the group benefits division at Symetra Financial. He previously served as vice president of the group division. Before joining Symetra, Fry worked as senior vice president and COO at Lincoln Re Risk Management Services.

Steve Peck has been named president and CEO at Axon Americas. He previously served as senior vice president and general manager of the ecosystem and partner group at SAP Americas & Asia-Pacific Japan, and as president of SAP Public Services.

Chantel Sheaks has been named principal of government affairs in the Washington office of Buck Consultants. Sheaks previously served as an adjunct professor of health and welfare benefit plans at Georgetown University and as legislative counsel for tax and benefits for the Workplace Flexibility 2010 project at the Georgetown University Law Center. Prior to joining Georgetown University, she was a partner at McDermott Will & Emery in Washington.

Kevin Rich has been named vice president of global business at New World Van Lines. He previously worked at Clark & Reid, where he led the company’s strategic transition from retail moving and storage to corporate relocation and expanded the brand to include Clark & Reid International and Clark & Reid Fine Furniture Services. He also serves as the chairman of the Worldwide ERC Foundation for Workforce Mobility.

Jeff Bloch has been named vice president of business development at Decision Toolbox. Prior to joining Decision Toolbox, Bloch was global offering practice leader for recruitment strategy and product management at EDS. He previously worked as senior director of product management and talent management at Convergys Employee Care and as senior recruitment manager at Cisco Systems.

Cecil Van Niekerk has been named vice president of human resources at Nair & Co. He most recently served as human resources director for Northern Europe, Australia, New Zealand and Africa at Gardner Denver. Van Niekerk previously held human resources and management positions at Johnson & Johnson, Dunlop Industrial Products, Pathfinders HR and Business Consulting, AlanDick Ltd. and the Central News Agency.

Roger Iris has been promoted to president at Workway. He previously served as senior vice president, overseeing marketing, business development and the expansion of Workway.

seven key executive appointments:

Sia Ahmadzadeh has been named senior vice president of IT operations for product services.
John Appel has been named executive vice president of client services for corporate sales and business development.
Terry Flaherty has been named vice president of corporate strategy.
Scott Hamilton has been named executive vice president of research and development.
Sherri Jurls has been named vice president of marketing.
Joe Kistner has been named COO.
Al Rainaldi has been named executive vice president, chief sales officer and chief learning officer.

Steven McNair has been named vice president of strategic alliances of the human capital division at Vangent. Prior to joining Vangent, McNair served as vice president of sales and marketing at Wanted Technologies. He previously worked as general manager at TMP Worldwide.

Susan Klein has been named chief marketing officer at Morrison & Foerster. Most recently, Klein served as chief marketing officer of the consumer lending group at Citibank. She previously worked as executive director of marketing communications for Morgan Stanley’s Global Wealth Management Group, as vice president of brand standards at MasterCard International and as director of strategic consumer marketing at Charles Schwab.

Kim Seals has been named global leader for compensation management co-sourcing at Mercer. She previously served as the Americas leader for compensation management co-sourcing at Mercer. Prior to joining Mercer, Seals was a consultant in the global HR solutions practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers. She previously worked as compensation and benefits manager for the Woman’s Hospital Foundation and Louisiana Workers’ Compensation Corp.

Sheryl Roland has been named senior vice president of human resources at the Active Network. She previously worked as senior vice president of human resources and administration at Visual Sciences (formerly WebSideStory. She has also held senior level human resources positions at the Upper Deck Co., Taco Bell and Encad.

Brandon Johnson has been named chief information officer at Resources Global Professionals. A 20-year Marine Corps officer, he previously served as the director of operating forces support at the Marine Corps Tactical Systems Support Activity.

Paul Rogers has been named director of employee communications and branding in the global human resources organization at Hewlett-Packard. He previously worked as the global employer brand manager at Starbucks.

Maria Schmitt has been named director, international mobility at Bristol Global Mobility. She previously worked as the human resource director, relocation and expatriate services, at ACS. Prior to ACS, she held several positions at Motorola including technology manager of the global assignment center

Phyllis Golden Morey has been named chief diversity officer at Brooks Kushman. Morey also serves as a firm shareholder and leads the firm’s commercial litigation and compliance, e-discovery and IT consulting practice groups.

Jim Shaddy has been named director of retirement consulting services for North America at Watson Wyatt Worldwide. He previously served as the firm’s central division retirement practice leader.

Leslie Parsons has been named country leader for Futurestep’s U.K. operations. She previously held several executive positions at Kelly Services, most recently serving as managing director of outsourcing and consulting in Europe, Middle East and Africa.

William G. Brown has been named CFO of Softscape. He previously served as CFO and treasurer at Authoria. Prior to Authoria, Brown worked as CFO of ChannelAdvisor and as CFO, treasurer and executive vice president at Lightbridge.
