People moving into key executive positions

Don C. Allen has been appointed senior director of consulting services for IPAT. He previously was senior organizational effectiveness consultant at Home Depot.

Zarir Erani has been named vice president of technology for Personnel Decisions International. Prior to joining PDI, Erani served as vice president of information technology and solution delivery for MotivAction.

Ann M. Kontner has been named vice president of human resources for Rosetta Stone. Kontner was senior vice president of human resources at XM Satellite Radio before joining Rosetta Stone.

Diane Shelgren has been named executive vice president of strategy and client development at Veritude. Shelgren was an independent consultant prior to joining Veritude. Before that, she was senior executive for Accenture HR Services and senior vice president at Spherion. Shelgren has also held executive positions in HR services at Ceridian and PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Robert P. Ambrosini has been named CFO of Rosetta Stone. Prior to joining Rosetta Stone, Ambrosini was senior vice president of finance and administration for the National Geographic Channel.

Robert A. Beck, founder of AlphaStaff Group, has been named to the board of directors for the Florida Association of Professional Employer Organizations.

Kevin Oakes has joined eContinuum as executive chair. Oakes has 15 years of experience in the human capital industry and is 2006 chair for the American Society of Training and Development board of directors.

Heather Cunha has been appointed director of human resources for Chaminade Resort. Cunha was director of human resources for the Embassy Suites in Seaside, California, before joining Chaminade.

David C. Brown, Danie E. Kepler and Betsey Tilkemeier have joined Heidrick & Struggles International as partners in the firm’s Chicago office.

Renee Booth and Troy Kanter have been named to Kenexa’s board of directors. Booth joins the board while continuing her position as president of Leadership Solutions, an HR consulting firm. Kanter continues to serve as president of human capital management at Kenexa.


Paul Gleason has been appointed vice president of operations at Suddath Relocation Systems. He has been with the company since 1997.

Othon Herrera has been appointed president and COO of Bartech Group. Prior to joining Bartech, Herrera was managing director of Operant.

John Kinnear has been named vice president of international business development at Accu-Time Systems. Kinnear was hired based on his sales experience that spans several continents--most significantly, his work in the European Union.

John Raudabaugh has joined the labor, employment and employee benefits practice group division of the law firm Baker & McKenzie. Raudabaugh is a recognized labor and employment lawyer who was appointed by President George H.W. Bush as a member of the U.S. National Labor Relations Board, where he served from 1990 to 1993.

Alan G. Spoon, managing general partner at Polaris Venture Partners, has been appointed to the board of directors for LRN, a provider of legal compliance, ethics management and corporate governance solutions. Spoon joined Polaris in 2000, and before that was president, COO and a member of the board of directors at the Washington Post Co.

Robert E. Hedrick has been appointed vice president and chief people officer for Keystone Automotive Industries. Hedrick most recently was senior vice president of human resources at Advance Auto Parts.



 
Bill Applegate has been named Eastern regional sales manager for workforce management solutions at Workscape Inc. Prior to joining Workscape, Applegate developed new business relationships for ADP’s human resources, payroll and benefits outsourcing services as a national sales manager.

Jennifer Thomas has been named executive vice president of human resources at Mueller Water Products. Thomas recently was executive vice president and chief human resources officer for Ryder Systems.

Robert G. Rathbun has been appointed human resources director for the Fluor Government Group, a Morgan Samuels company. Rathbun is the former vice president of human resources for Contrack International.

Jim Stamm, president and COO of Atlas World Group, has been named vice chairman. Stamm joined the company in 1987.

Joseph H. Mongrain has been appointed vice president of human resources at Cameron. Mongrain had been with Schlumberger Ltd., most recently as director of human resources for the firm’s global division in Houston.

Jason Jordan and Christopher Hergesell have joined Mercer Human Resource Consulting. Jordan and Hergesell both come from Go to Market Partners.

Mark Cheeser has been promoted to director of fleet services and quality at Suddath Relocation Systems. Cheeser came to Suddath while attending the University of North Florida as a planner trainee in military operations.

Martin Magill has been named senior vice president of sales by the National Medical Health Card Systems. Prior to joining the company, Magill was senior vice president of sales and marketing for Catalyst Rx.

Dr. Daphne Mobley has been promoted to vice president of corporate diversity at Wyeth. Mobley joined Wyeth in 1992 as a manager of toxicology, laboratory animal resources.

Brett Houghton and Ron Myers have joined Buck Consultants’ Lifetime Health consulting practice as directors. Houghton Joins Buck from TenFold Corp., where he was director of TenFold University. Myers comes to Buck from Accela, where he was director of product management.

Kirby Bosley has been appointed director of Western division group and health care consulting for Watson Wyatt. Bosley has more than 25 years of health and welfare benefits experience and 22 years of experience as a consultant.
