People moving into key executive positions

Edwin G. Foulke, Jr. has been named a partner in the workplace safety and catastrophe management practice group at Fisher & Phillips. Foulke recently served as U.S. assistant secretary of labor for occupational safety and health and as head of the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration. He previously served as chair of the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Review Commission.

Katherine Marchant has been named vice president and general manager of the Indianapolis office of EmploymentGroup. She recently served as a regional manager at Kelly Services. She previously established the South Florida office of the Spencer Reed Group and began her career at Olsten Staffing Services

 

Stacey Caywood has been named president and CEO of Wolters Kluwer Law & Business (U.S.). She recently served as vice president of the company’s legal professional group. She previously led strategic planning, publishing, sales, marketing and new product development for the company’s CCH and Wolters Kluwer divisions.

Kenneth A. Finneran has been named chief people officer of the Americas at Hellmann Worldwide Logistics. He recently served as vice president of human resources. Before joining Hellmann, Finneran was president and CEO of Intellectual Capital Management and general manager at TMP Worldwide and Arthur Hunt, all in Poland.

Keith Southerland has been named a senior client partner in the health care services practice in the Dallas office of Korn/Ferry International. He recently served as executive vice president of operations and leader of the national search practice at Witt/Kieffer.

Hal Adler has been named manager of strategic growth and development in the New York office of What If. He recently served as president of the Great Place to Work Institute. He previously founded the Training Arts Institute and worked as vice president of talent solutions at the Center for Talent Retention.

Mark Lee has been named head of recruitment process outsourcing leader at Korn/Ferry Futurestep UK. He recently served as director of outsourcing services at Reed Managed Services.

 

The Segal Co. has announced the addition of two consultants as it expands its national health practice:
Sadhna Paralkar, M.D., has been named a health management consultant for the firm’s Total Health Management initiative. She recently served as vice president for payer provider consulting at Ingenix.

Ritu Malhotra, PharmD, has been named vice president and clinical pharmacy consultant. She recently served as East region pharmacy consulting practice leader at Hewitt Associates. She previously worked in the pharmacy practice at Aon Consulting and as a pharmacist at CVS.

Aon Consulting has added new consultants to its roster:Debi Heck has joined the Houston health and benefits practice as a national expert on wellness and population health management. She recently served as vice president of wellness at Matria Healthcare. She previously worked as director of wellness at St. Luke’s Episcopal Hospital in Houston.
Mark Arian has been named executive vice president and leader of the corporate transactions group. He recently served as the global change management leader and practice leader for mergers, acquisitions and restructuring at Towers Perrin. He previously led the corporate restructuring and change business at Hewitt Associates.
Sharon Blichfeldt has been named vice president of the health and benefits practice in the Pittsburgh office. She recently served as director of health and productivity at Buck Consultants.

Barry Greenstein has been named senior vice president in the corporate transactions group. He recently served as a principal in the New York office of Mercer.

Michael Hilton has been named senior vice president and health and benefits practice leader in the San Francisco office. He recently served as principal of the health and benefits practice at Mercer. He previously worked as a plan financial manager at Towers Perrin in the U.S. and Australia.

Mercer recently announced new appointments:Jason Jeffay has been named a principal and member of the Americas leadership team. He recently served as North American practice leader at Hewitt Associates.

Clare Collins-Newton has been named chief information officer for North America at Mercer. She recently served as vice president of information technical management at ACS. She previously worked as chief technology officer at Mellon Human Resources and Investor Solutions. She also held senior HR and technology positions at Unifi, Kwasha Lipton and JPMorgan Chase.

Pierre Neatby has been named Canadian business leader at Mercer. He recently served as vice president of benefits outsourcing and leader of the Canadian pension and benefits outsourcing business at Buck Consultants. Neatby previously worked as vice president, Six Sigma, in the Toronto office of Noranda.
Rajeev Grover has been named head of Mercer’s global operations and shared services center in Gurgaon, India. He recently served as Asia-Pacific global business services and outsourcing leader at Hewitt Associates. He previously worked as Hewitt’s India BPO leader, director of global shared services at eFunds, vice president of service delivery in the BPO division at GENPACT and as director of finance change management at American Express.

Morgan Lewis recently added several attorneys to its employment law practices:
Mary B. Hevener has been named a partner in the employee benefits and executive compensation practice in the Washington, D.C., office. She recently served as a partner in the tax practice at Baker & McKenzie. She previously worked as an attorney advisor in the Office of Tax Legislative Counsel at the U.S. Treasury.

David R. Fuller has been named a partner in the employee benefits and executive compensation practice in the Washington, D.C., office. He recently served as leader of the employment tax, fringe benefits and contingent workforce practice at McDermott Will and Emery. He previously worked as a manager in the Office of the Associate Chief Counsel of the IRS.

Dean R. Morley has been named a partner in the employee benefits and executive compensation practice in the Washington, D.C., office. He recently served as a partner in the tax practice at Baker & McKenzie. He previously worked as an attorney in the Office of the Associate Chief Counsel of the IRS.
Jerry Holmes has been named senior counsel in the Washington, D.C., office. He previously served as chief of Branch 2 in the IRS Office of the Associate Chief Counsel, Employee Benefits and Exempt Organizations. (Jerry Holmes)
Christopher Hitchins has been named a partner in the labor and employment practice of the London office. He recently worked in the London office of Latham & Watkins.






PricewaterhouseCoopers recently announced new appointments in its global and U.S. people and change practice:
Richard Baird has been named co-leader of the global and U.S. people and change practice. He recently served as the firm’s global managing partner of people. He previously worked as the firm’s U.S. operations leader in the assurance and business advisory services practices and as global operations leader in the assurance practice.

John Vederese has been named managing director in the U.S. advisory people and change practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers. He recently served as the firm’s human capital leader in the U.S. advisory practice, and as a member of the human capital leadership team, advisory leadership group and extended leadership team.

Marie Killian has been named director of health and productivity management at Reliance Standard Life Insurance Co. She recently served as integrated health and productivity management practice leader at Trion. She previously worked as a vice president at Aon Consulting.

MassMutual Retirement Services recently made several appointments:
Scott Palmer has been named vice president of retirement systems. He recently served as vice president and chief information officer at Lincoln Financial Group.

Kenneth Pouch has been named national practice leader for the Taft-Hartley business development team. He recently served as a relationship manager serving MassMutual’s Taft-Hartley trustees and members.

Joseph Carmignani has been named a relationship manager on the Taft-Hartley team. He recently served as a communications consultant at Fidelity Investments. He previously held client service roles at New York Life Investment Management and at Putnam Investments.

John Dolan Jr. has been named a relationship manager on the Taft-Hartley team. He recently served as a relationship manager servicing the Taft-Hartley market at Prudential Financial.

Arthur "Arte" Nathan has joined the board of Strategic Development Worldwide. He recently served as vice president of human resources of the resort property division at the Irvine Co. He previously directed human resource programs for several Steve Wynn properties, including the Golden Nugget, Mirage, Treasure Island and Bellagio in Las Vegas and the Wynn Resorts in Las Vegas and Macau.

Jason Altieri has been named vice president of partnerships and general counsel at Corefino. He recently served as partner in the corporate group at Mintz Levin. He previously worked as a partner at Sonnenschein Nath & Rosenthal and as an associate at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati.

Adam Roth has been named president and COO of Roth Staffing Cos. He recently served as chief administrative officer. He previously worked as president of the company’s legal staffing division, Adams & Martin Group.

Ramona Oliver has been named director of communications for the Service Employees International Union. She recently served as communications director at Emily’s List. Oliver previously worked as communications director for Pennsylvania Gov. Ed Rendell and as communications director at the Democratic Governors Association.
