People moving into key executive positions

Jennifer L. Weber has been named chief human resources officer at Duke Energy. She recently served as senior vice president of human resources at the E.W. Scripps Co. and Scripps Networks Interactive. Weber previously worked as a partner and managing principal at Towers Perrin.

Stephen Tibbs has been named senior vice president of the leadership consulting practice at Lee Hecht Harrison. He recently served as partner in the leadership consulting practice at Heidrick & Struggles. Before joining Heidrick & Struggles, Tibbs was founder and CEO of Blue Vase Enterprises, partner in the human performance consulting practice at Accenture and global managing partner in the enterprise portal practice at Accenture.

 

R. Shane Jackson has been named president of LocumTenens.com. He recently served as executive vice president at Jackson Healthcare. He previously worked as president at Patient Placement Systems and president and co-founder of NextStart Capital, both part of the Jackson Healthcare portfolio of companies.

Orlando Ashford  has been named senior vice president of human resources at Marsh & McLennan Cos. He recently served as group director of human resources for Eurasia and Africa at Coca-Cola Co. and vice president of corporate center human resources and cultural transformation at Coca-Cola. Before joining Coca-Cola, Ashford worked as vice president for global human resources strategy and organizational development at Motorola.

Darrell Luzzo has been named senior vice president of organizational development and training at Oncure Medical Corp. He previously served as president of Strategic Partnerships. Before joining Strategic Partnerships, Luzzo worked as senior vice president of education at JA Worldwide, vice president of product development at Kuder, dean of career development services at Mt. Hood Community College and director of career transitions research at ACT.

Mickey Silberman has been named national chair of the affirmative action/diversity practice at Jackson Lewis. Silberman recently served as managing partner of the firm’s Denver office. He also serves as legal counsel to the National Industry Liaison Group.

Lynn M. Bragg has been named CEO of Worldwide ERC. She recently served as president of the Chocolate Manufacturers Association. Bragg previously sat on the board of directors of the National Association of Manufacturers’ Council of Manufacturing Associations and on the board of the World Cocoa Foundation. She also served a nine-year presidential appointment as chairman and vice chairman of the U.S. International Trade Commission and as legislative director to Sen. Malcolm Wallop, R-Wyoming.

 

Two appointments were made recently at PricewaterhouseCoopers:
R. Carter Pate has been named managing partner of the U.S. advisory practice. He recently served as managing partner of the firm’s federal government practice. Pate worked as managing partner of the firm’s national and regional offices, leader in the public sector and health industries practices, and as a member of the firm’s U.S. leadership team.

Juan Pujadas has been named global leader of the advisory practice. He will retain his role as U.S. leader of the firm’s advisory practice. He previously served as the firm’s leader of the global risk management solutions practice for the Americas and the global financial risk management group. Before joining PricewaterhouseCoopers, Pujadas worked as chief risk officer at Santander Investment.

 

Two recent appointments were made at Lighthouse1:
Jeff Young has been named president and CEO. He recently held several positions at Microsoft, including vice president of Microsoft’s Dynamics applications. Before joining Microsoft, Young was executive vice president of North American sales at Great Plains Software.
Todd Reynolds has been named chief technology officer. He recently served as principle program manager for enterprise resource planning software at Microsoft. Before joining Microsoft, Reynolds was vice president of development at Great Plains Software.

Peter Weil has been named general manager at Suddath Relocation Systems of Nashville. He recently served as vice president of operations at Suddath Relocation Systems of San Jose. Before joining Suddath, Weil worked as general manager at Associated Moving and Storage of Louisiana and at Graebel New Orleans.

Rusti Clemens has been named assistant director of human resources at Southwest Research Institute. She recently served as manager of employment for the organization.

Robert Gandossy has been named leader of the North American leadership consulting practice at Hewitt Associates. He previously served as the firm’s global leader of consulting solutions

Brent Kleiman has been named senior vice president of product marketing and strategy at Salary.com. He recently worked as the company’s general manager and vice president of small-business solutions. Before joining Salary.com, Kleiman was vice president and general manager of the hourly division at Deploy Solutions and president and CEO of Humetrics.

New appointments were made recently at Buck Consultants:
Jorge Font has been named a principal and leader of the health and productivity practice in the Houston office. He recently served as a senior vice president at Aon Corp. He also serves as president of the Southwest Benefits Association.
Melissa Hatch has been named a principal in the global HR technology and administration practice. She recently served as a senior management consultant at ADP.
Michelle Tenberg has been named a director in the global HR technology and administration practice. She recently served as a manager at Affiliated Computer Services.

Michael Castine has been named chairman of the asset and wealth management sector at Korn/Ferry International. He recently served as CEO of the Sugar Hill Cos. Before joining Sugar Hill, Castine was president of Dover Management, global sector head in the executive search division of TMP Worldwide, partner in the investment management practice at Highland Search Group and co-head of the global financial services practice at Spencer Stuart.

Robert Croner has been named a principal at HResults. He recently served as executive vice president and chief human resources officer at Radian Group. Before joining the Radian Group, Croner was vice president of human resources at Independence Blue Cross.
