Our financial services organization has been losing staff to competitors due to our low pay. We do not have the budget now to alleviate this problem. Thus, my boss requires that I come up with creative ways to improve our retention. Should I start by conducting a survey of employees to find out which strategies might work? Or should I just hang in there and hope the situation improves?
