Management scholar Edward Lawler is both prolific and practical. The University of Southern California business professor has written or co-authored 43 books. Lawler, 69, also was named this year’s winner of the Distinguished Scholar-Practitioner Award from the Academy of Management. In 1995, he earned the academy’s award for scholarly contributions to management.
