I have an employee who is suddenly claiming she can no longer perform certain tasks due to a pinched nerve in her shoulder. She previously had no issue dong these tasks. She has made no claim of any on the job injury but keeps saying that the repetitive non-stop motion of these tasks is hurting her. This coincided with her being disgruntled at a decision I made a couple of weeks ago. I'm not sure what to do. We are very slow and there isn't a lot of work. If she cannot perform these tasks, it does not make sense to keep her on board full-time. Last Friday, she came in holding her eye and told my husband that her eye hurt due to her neck injury (not sure if that's the same as the pinched nerve). I don't know what to make of this and would like any feedback or advice on how to handle this.
