We have a policy that states employees must pay 22% of the cost of health insurance each month. I have an hourly employee that has beem out of work since September 2013. He is trying to file a workers comp claim which our comp carrier is disputing. He has not been paying the employee portion of insurance since he went out. Can we insist on his paying and if he dows not, can we discontinue his health insurance? Our workforce is less that 50 employees. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
