I'd like to receive advice from other HR professionals on how they handle employee's who do not complete the short-term disability paperwork that is sent to them. I have many employees who state that they need a leave of absence due to their own medical issue, but refuse to submit the paperwork. Their supervisors allow them to return to work (with a doctors note)... Does anyone have advice that they can share with me on how they handle this type of situation? Thank you.
