What effect will the baby boomer exodus have on rewards? You would assume with a smaller talent pool compensation will increase. We may also see plenty of part time opportunities for retirees to continue to add value. Are there any other solutions to the problem that have been brought up?

Hello--

Moving forward, companies will find it increasingly hard to replace retirees. As Boomers begin to retire in large numbers, it will be necessary to tap back into their retirees to train replacements, help with crunch times, or even bridge the gap before the right replacement is hired. Phased Retirement has become a hot topic, and many organizations are making it part of their overall staffing plan. The easiest way to do this is bring their own retirees back thru a 3rd party such as reEmploy.com. This way there's no interference with pension benefits and it also avoids the red tape of rehire. Please contact me if you'd like to discuss further.

Regards--
Mary Lou
