online advertising consortium, including the Chicago Sun-Times.
In addition to the Sun-Times, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, the Akron
Beacon Journal and the Honolulu Star-Bulletin also are joining the group, which
sells online advertising across newspaper Web sites using the job board’s
technology.
The deal with the Sun-Times includes 70 of its other newspapers in the
Chicago area. The 94 newspapers bring the consortium’s total to 800. Terms of
the deals were not announced.

Sunnyvale, California-based Yahoo also announced on Wednesday new advertising
