Meisinger Bids Farewell to SHRM; Successor Pending
A successor to Susan Meisinger, president and CEO of the Society for Human
Resource Management, will be named later this summer—after Meisinger departs the
organization on June 30.
At a press conference Sunday, June 22, Meisinger said that China Miner Gorman, SHRM’s
chief operating officer, would assume chief executive responsibilities until a
new CEO is appointed.
The search committee and board have set a goal of selecting a CEO by August
1, Meisinger said.
