John Wood has been named vice president
of human resources at Benchmark Hospitality International. Most recently,
he served as senior vice president of human resources for Sterling Cos.
Prior to this position, Wood was vice president of human resources for John
Wieland Homes and Neighborhoods. |

Raj Bowen has been named managing director
for Personnel Decisions International’s India operations. Most recently,
Bowen served as CEO of Dale Carnegie Training India, where he launched a
Dale Carnegie finishing school for young talent in Bangalore. Prior to Dale
Carnegie Training India, Bowen headed the corporate solutions group for
the Western entity of NIS Sparta, a division of NIIT Ltd., India’s largest
private-sector IT education provider. |

Bill Passmore Bill Passmore has joined
the Center for Creative Leadership as organizational practice leader. Most
recently, Passmore was a partner in Oliver Wyman Delta Organization and
Leadership, the firm formerly known as Mercer Delta. Previously, he was
a professor in the Department of Organizational Behavior at Case Western
University. |

Jocelyn Purtell has been named head
of U.S. operations for Mercer’s outsourcing business. Most recently, she
served as senior vice president and North America operations outsourcing
leader for Hewitt Associates and was a member of the Hewitt Leadership Council.

Jerry Ford has been named CEO of Marathon
Health. Most recently, Ford was president and CEO of Systems & Software.
He previously worked at IDX Systems, where he held several positions, including
vice president of operations. |

Thomas L Monahan III has been elected
to the board of directors at Convergys. Monahan currently serves as chairman
and CEO of Corporate Executive Board, where he previously served as general
manager for several divisions. Before joining Corporate Executive Board,
he was a member of the financial institutions practice in the New York office
of Deloitte & Touche Consulting Group, a research and information director
at the Committee for Economic Development, and a staff consultant at Andersen
Consulting. |

TharpeRobbins Co. He was previously COO, executive vice president and treasurer
at Robbins Co. before its merger with Tharpe Co. in 2007. He also served
as vice president of operations for the Michael C. Fina Co. |

Cao, who was named senior vice president and chief information officer.
Cao joined TharpeRobbins from Akibia, where he was director of applications
development. |

Karen Warlin has joined Buck Consultants
as a director in the firm’s Chicago office. She most recently worked at
CCC Information Services and previously served as manager of employee communications
at HSBC. |

Larry Langer has joined Buck Consultants
as a principal in the firm’s Chicago office. He joins Buck Consultants from
Gabriel, Roeder, Smith & Co. |

Mitchell Nash has been named general manager of PDI’s San Francisco office. Most recently, Nash was the regional vice president for Linkage. |

Gregg Tanoff was promoted to team leader for PDI’s Michigan office, which serves the Michigan and Ohio markets. Tanoff retired as a lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Air Force before joining PDI. (Gregg Tanoff) |

Jennifer Scott was promoted from
director of leadership development services to general manager for PDI
Melbourne. She previously ran a private psychological practice.

Kate Bravery was promoted to
general manager for PDI Sydney. Bravery, an organizational psychologist,
was a consultant prior to joining PDI. |

Thomas Putrim has joined Korn/Ferry International as a senior client partner of the firm’s global financial market. Putrim recently worked in the financial services sector at Russell Reynolds Associates. He began his career at American National Bank, now part of JPMorgan Chase. |

Ellen Kramer has been named senior vice president of marketing at Springbok Services. She previously held marketing positions at USA Today, Time Life and America Online, where she initiated, developed and ran AOL’s direct marketing efforts. She also founded NowWhat? Marketing Solutions.
