People moving into key executive positions

Ken Meyers has been named senior vice president of organizational transformation and people development at Hospira. He recently served as a partner, principal consultant and coach at Oliver Wyman. Meyers previously worked as senior vice president of human resources at Starbucks Coffee International, senior vice president of human resources at Gymboree, vice president of human resources at Walt Disney Imagineering and director of human resources at United Technologies.

Stephan Carter has been named president and CEO of Hudson North America. He recently served as president and COO of Komori America Corp. Carter previously worked as president at RRD Direct and senior vice president and general manager of the consumer magazine division at R.R. Donnelly.

 

Christopher Burns has been named CEO of the global employee benefits practice at Willis Group Holdings. He recently served as the company’s senior vice president of multinational employee benefits. Before joining Willis, Burns worked as a principal at Mercer and held senior employee benefit positions in Greece, Brazil and England at AIG and Cigna.

Ginger Groeber has been named vice president for human capital services at Lockheed Martin Enterprise Solutions and Services. She recently worked as Lockheed’s program manager for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security HR Access Program. She previously served the U.S. Department of Defense as deputy undersecretary of defense for civilian personnel policy, director of the Civilian Personnel Management Service and as deputy director of human resources in the Defense Finance and Accounting Service.

Jim Shaughnessy has been named senior vice president and chief administrative officer at Orbitz Worldwide. He previously served as senior vice president and general counsel. Before joining Orbitz, he managed legal affairs at several companies, including Lenovo Group, PeopleSoft, Hewlett-Packard and Compaq.

Jacqueline Kohn has been named vice president of human resources at Solatube International. She recently served as the company’s director of human resources. Before joining Solatube, Kohn worked as a human resources and operations manager at BeXcom Research.

Tommy E. Dalton has been named senior technical recruiter at VACO Raleigh. He recently served as area manager of field operations at Hill-Rom IT Solutions. Dalton previously worked as technical support team lead at Lowe’s and customer service manager at Electronic Data Systems.

CTP Partners recently made several appointments:
Barry Bregman has been named vice chairman. He also serves as a senior member of the firm’s financial services practice in the New York office. He recently worked as a partner in the financial services practice.
Marc Gasperino has been named partner in the technology, media and telecom practice. He recently served as a principal in the same practice.
Amy Orlich has been named partner in the financial services practice specializing in technology officers. She recently served as a principal in the New York financial services practice.
James Bright has been named a partner in the financial services practice in the London office. He recently served as a principal in the financial services practice.
Alexandra Alberti has been named a partner in the technology, media and telecom practice in the Paris office. She recently worked as a principal in the technology, media and telecom practice.
Severine Leca has been named a principal in the professional services practice in the Paris office. She recently served as a director in the professional services practice.

Joseph Miller has been named director of business operations for California at ConsultNet. He recently served as district manager at Yoh Co. He previously worked as president and CEO at JD Miller Co. and as a business development manager at Amtec and Aerotek.

Buck Consultants recently made two appointments: David Harwell has been named a principal and human capital management practice leader in the firm’s Atlanta office. He recently served as sales and execution lead in the Southeast corporate change and restructuring group at Hewitt Associates.
Leah Malof has been named a director in the firm’s Cincinnati office. She recently served as vice president of products and services at United Medical Resources.

Aon Consulting recently made several new appointments:
Barry Greenstein has been named senior vice president in the corporate transactions group. He recently served as a principal for private equity clients in the New York office at Mercer.
Matt Smith has been named senior vice president and leader of the U.S. defined-contribution practice. He recently served as leader of the U.S. defined-contribution practice at Russell Investments.
Laurel Meissner has been named senior vice president and global controller. She recently served as a senior vice president at Motorola.
Mark Oshima has been named senior vice president in the corporate transactions practice. He recently served as west region leader and senior advisor in the mergers and acquisitions practice at Exequity.
Will Sneden has been named senior vice president and health and benefits practice leader of the Carolinas. He recently served as the consulting office leader in the Charlotte office at Hewitt Associates.

James McLaren has been named general manager of the New York office at Personnel Decisions International. He recently served as a senior consultant in the New York office of Hewitt Associates. Before joining Hewitt, McLaren was a practice leader in talent management consulting at Hudson Highland Group and a director in human capital consulting at Alexander Mann Group, both in Australia.

E. Peter McLean has been named chairman of the financial officers practice in the Miami office of Korn/Ferry International. He recently served as vice chairman, senior director and leader of the global financial officer practice at Spencer Stuart. He previously worked as a managing partner in the New York office of Spencer Stuart and transportation and aerospace representative at the New York Stock Exchange.

Benjamin I. Delancy has been named a partner in the employee benefits and executive compensation practice in the Washington office of Morgan Lewis. He recently served as a partner and chair of the employee benefits practice at Thelen.

J. Mark McConnell has been named senior vice president of business and corporate development at HealthFitness. He recently served as senior vice president of the employer solutions group at Healthways. Before joining Healthways, McConnell was the health plan manager of health care initiatives at Kaiser Permanente.
