Infor software allows managers to score employees on customer service, which allows peak performers to be scheduled at peak times.
Lawson’s software allows nurses to see and bid on open shifts a la eBay.

Nurses who meet certain qualifications can be given a "buy it now" option to snag open shifts and can be given the chance to vie for slots through a pay-based bidding process. The Internet-based employee interface allows users to see only shifts for which they are qualified to work.
