I work for a pre IPO internet company, and I am looking for comparable companies, and the 401(K) plans that they may offer their employees. What I need to know is if they have a vesting schedule, what are the entry dates/waiting period to join the plan, and if there is an employer match. Any help would be greatly appreciated it. Please feel free to email me the information at sshere@peoplesupport.com

Our 401(k) plan matches at a rate of 66 2/3% for the first 6% contributed into the plan. There isn't a waiting period and they are 25% vested for each year they are employeed with us so that they are 100% vested after 4 years of service.

Hi, I also work for a pre ipo co and we are just looking at adding 401K. We will probably have quarterly entry dates; and I don't know yet about a company match.
Please share your results with me!
Thanks

Do you work for a pre-ipo company?
Is your match in company stock or dollars?
Thanks!

We are a not-for-profit company so we do not have company stock. The match is 66 2/3% for the first 6% that they contribute into the savings plan. We have a separate retirement plan that we contribute 7% of the employees salary. They are only vested in that plan after 5 years of service. Our employees have control over both plans in regards to investments and manage their accounts.
