Our medical/dental benefits are self-funded. Our third-party administrator has not been paying the claims on a timely basis. They changed computer systems last year & did not use any common sense or intelligence when they implemented the change. Consequently, I am trying to help my people get claims paid for for service dates as old as 2/99. I have 4 employees who have been turned over to collection agencies.
Our tpa keeps making promises that it does not keep. My boss does not want to switch companies, that causes yet another nightmare.
Any suggestions?
