Does anyone know whether employees of a subsidiary are automatically entitled to the profit sharing/pension benefits of the parent company? Thanks!

It depends on the way the individual subsidiary is held and how the profit sharing/pension plan is set up. I'd be glad to talk with you more on this. Email or call me at michael.j.crawford@aexp.com or 617 349 1035 x2739

You might want to consider checking with: The Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) sets uniform minimum standards to assure that employee benefit plans are established and maintained in a fair and financially sound manner.
