We are a managed health care organization who has historically handled employee claims adjudication in-house within the HR dept. (without any confidentiality problems to date). We are considering outsourcing this function to reduce any potential liability that could arise. Would appreciate any feedback from others who perform the function in-house (experience/procedures, etc.); or who have outsourced (reasons why).
