Be aware of the tax liability based on who pays the premium. If the Employer pays the LTD premium, taxes must be deducted from the benefit. If the Employee pays the LTD premium (with post tax dollars)

Be aware of the tax liability based on who pays the premium. If the Employer pays the LTD premium, taxes must be deducted from the benefit. If the Employee pays the LTD premium (with post tax dollars) the benefit will not be taxed.
