In my limited experience, I understood that forfeitures were pooled and distributed among plan participants. That doesn't appear to have ever been done here. How do I go about that, and what else am I

In my limited experience, I understood that forfeitures were pooled and distributed among plan participants. That doesn't appear to have ever been done here. How do I go about that, and what else am I missing. PLEASE HELP. |

401(k) forfeitures are not pooled and distributed to plan participants unless the plan document says so. Most official plan documents state specifically what is permissible use of forfeitures. Many plans use forfeitures to reduce future employer contributions. |
