Our company uses a variety as well, however for the field, where there is not yet intranet, most correspondence goes out in our "store mail" in paper form. We send out benefits new hire packets this way, as well as open enrollment for insurance, flex and the employee stock purchase plan. The only other way we have effectively informed our field associates is with scheduled conference calls. With our 401(k), our provider sends out "Retirement Check-ups" to the homes of all of those eligible, and to boost participation this year, we included it in the performance evaluation info that we sent out to the district managers who handled the evaluations in the field.
