Meaningful financial incentives for personal health maintenance tied to
Cost-Utilization-Risk-Engagement goals which are established in advance, monitored and achieved by the individual employee and can include a spouse for those with family coverage.

We have had great success with several 100 employer-based programs. We generally explain it as a discount for good health behavior just as your home owners insurance is discounted for having working smoke detectors! Those that don't adhere to safe practices don't achieve the discount.
