We've recently laid off an employee a month ago. It was going to be permanent however it was decided to bring the employee back part time. The employee is collecting unemployment. The unemployment is more than the part time pay. Can I cancel the unemployment because the employee has refused to return to work?

You should notify the UI agency that work is available for the employee.

Depending on the requirements for your jurisdiction, the employee may still be eligible for partial benefits.
