I am not sure what a wrap document is.

Perhaps you mean something the assesses the success and failures or areas of improvement regarding a special project that was just completed?

I believe that a wrap document is a standard boilerplate that you can use for Erisa plans to "wrap" around your basic plan writeup and "convert" it to an ERISA plan meeting all the legal requirements.

I seem to remember that too Howard, but I would want to check with legal counsel before doing so myself -- either through the TPA who provided the basic document or outside counsel.

There is no way I would try to write one myself. Especially if you are a fiduciary in the plan.

We have a wrap document and it is complicated. You should have an ERISA attorney create the document for you.
