We have a full-time exempt employee who works part-time. She performs many of the same job duties as her full-time counterparts, though some have been reassigned to accommodate her
reduced hours. The question is whether she has been classified appropriately as an exempt employee. My understanding is that as long as we meet the salary exemption of $455 a week and the duties test, we are compliant. Am I right?

Yes you are correct. As long as you are paying her $455 per week that is. You can NOT prorate that amount at all.
As a matter of fact I fall into an exempt "less than full time" category since I work 30 hours per week.
But you must still consider the fact that you have to pay her under the same exempt deduction rules for missing work that other exempt employees enjoy (can't dock for partial days, etc). And I would figure out ahead of time how the company will deal with it if she works significantly more than her standard hours in any given week. (p.s. there is no "right" answer, but it is good to discuss BEFORE it happens! *Ü*) And also how her PTO will be earned/accrued/given. Mine is prorated.
