Hi All

My company is looking to see what the marekt trends are in regards to demotions, promotions, off cycle or equity salary adjustment and non exempt merit increases. If anyone can provide me information on the these topics please let me know.

Demotions - Is base pay reduced at time of demotion? If yes, how do you determine what the reduced amount should be?

Promotions - How do you calculate a promotional increase? Is it based strictly on an employee's salary or do other factors play a part such as performance, compa-ratio, or a matrix that is utilized to calculate the promotion (If a matrix is available please provide it to us).

Salary Exception - Do you allow off-cycle salary adjustments outside of performance review period(s)? If yes, how do you determine the salary adjustment amount. What is the appropriate percent to use in recommendations to management?

Non Exempt Merit Increases - Any information available?
