Good question. We haven't got beyond the issue of how we can compel employees to attend when if we need them to be at work there must be a disaster of international proportions happening. Wouldn't a reasonable person stay home to protect their family? How do you discipline someone who refuses when they're only protecting the interests of their families? Let me know if you get any useful answers to your compensation issue.

We are struggling with the question of Y2K compensation as well. We are thinking about either comp time and/or extra pay(2x or more??) to start. We are also considering giving everyone a bottle of champagne on their way out after they have finished thier "shift" as well as tshirts/sweatshirts. Any other ideas?
