Are any of you familiar with a company called RCI ? They also go by RCI Media and Recourse Communications. They have been hounding me to run a recruitment ad and I wanted to learn more about them before I went forward. Any information is appreciated. |

The only company I know of called "RCI" is Rogers Communications Inc. It's in Canada and is the umbrella company that oversees all of the Rogers companies (such as Rogers Cable, Rogers Wireless, Rogers Media, Rogers Video, and so on). If you're American you probably don't what the heck I'm talking about but if you're Canadian, you're probably quite familiar with one or more of the Rogers companies. If the "RCI" you're referring to seems to you to be a Rogers comnpany in Canada, email me and we can talk more about the company (I have a fairly extensive business history with several of the Rogers companies). |

I don't know anything about the comapnay you are speaking of, but offer you the same thought I offer all of my clients and others - if you are not comfortable with the supplier you are using or considering, and based on your note it appears this is the case, don't use them.
It is really that simple. If they were "hounding" me I would tell them I am not intersted in their services and explain that I do not like their approach. Cheers, Ken Milloy Strategic Connections Inc. |

RCI - Recourse Communications is a boiler room that operates in Florida.
They use high pressure telemarketers trying to sell resumes from job seekers that put their resume on the web. How it works is they cold call you and using high pressure sales try to get you to buy their product. Their product is a web spider that goes onto the Internet and finds resumes and then they provide them to the company. Most of these resumes are available for free and the satisfaction of the companies that fall for their pressure is generally very low. They have very little repeat business and many customers get no usable results despite have to pay for their "service". Telemarketers, boiler room, and high pressure best describes how this company works. |

Hrbth....We can appreciate your response to Mike Friends remarks but he speaks the truth. No matter how late or long it took him to get back. We can tell you from our experience Mike is absolutely correct in his evaluation of that organization...Sad but true.
