We are attempting to improve our org. announcements - not to add needless fluff but to include some messages that really underscore the importance of the appointment.
We are a large ( />110,000 people) corporation and have many announcements that are often viewed by employees as spam. Unfortunately our current IS platform does not allow us to sort these too specifically or make them subscription-based.
Does anyone have any examples of any org. announcements they think are especially effective? Something away from the old cliche "We are pleased to announce XYZ and been appointed 123."
Any comments on process improvements are also welcome, we don't want to turn this into a lot of extra work, but realize it would require increased collaboration between HR, communications and the hiring manager.
