Hi. I am very interested to know which types of organizations currently have the most need for translated written materials and what those materials are - employee benefits, policies, etc., safety or procedural guidelines, Web site pages for information or advertising, etc. This trend has surely begun, albeit slowly. May I have your thoughts, please? Thank you.

I work for a Home health Agency and we have the need for not only employee translated forms but also Patient forms along with patient training. It has been difficult for us to find teaching guides in spanish.

Thank you for replying. That is very useful information that I haven't thought of. By "employee translated forms," do you mean training materials for your Spanish-speaking nurses and aids? I would be happy to speak with your company owner to offer translation services for these materials. You may e-mail me directly at marlene@bilcomgroup.com. Thank you so much!

I have been working with Latin American companies here in Miami in providing legal, medical HR translations as well as consecutive interpretation.

Let me know if I can be of help to you.

I have done this in a number of places in a variety of languages (Spanish, Russian, Portugese, etc). In some instances we contracted withg local school teachers who are always looking for extra income and tend to be both inexpensive and reliable. Could be an option for you

I work in the construction industry in Colorado. A significant number of our employees have Spanish as a first language. While they are able to perform regular job duties with only English instruction, sometimes employment and benefit documents, safety and training materials, etc. which contain lots of detailed information cannot be communicated effectively in English.
