Our organization is comprised of a large number of hourly employees in foodservice across multiple business lines and ranging from employee group sizes of 5 to 500 employees. We are looking to formalize an Employee Value Proposition for our hourly, front-line employee workforce. I'm interested in hearing how other large, decentralized organizations might have approached this effort, and what elements you have included in an EVP. Any feedback is much appreciated!

Hereis language from when i did this for a prior employer. I had to use the term total rewards instead of the term EVP based upon culture.

The total package of what employees receive for working at an organization in exchange for their effort and contribution to the success of the company.
LHSs impact on employees is through experiences. The total package reaches beyond financial - it addresses employees intrinsic needs.

The 5 step process we used to determine what our EVP/TR were

Determine the attributes that candidates/employees value in their decision to join or stay at LHS.
Determine our current TR: What we offer today as an employer to attract candidates and retain employees.
Evaluate competitiveness in providing these attraction/retention features compared to other employers.
Determine the necessary changes/modifications to position us as the Best Place to Work.
Disseminate and institutionalize our new TR throughout the organization.

Then we focused on these

Retention
Culture
Recruitment/Brand Strategy
Compensation
Development

I trust this was helpful.
