There is no such thing as a "standard executive contract" in the U.S.

I strongly suggest you seek employment counsel who have experience in creating US employment contracts. You need to create one that is not only applicable with regards to federal law but also to each individual state law where you will have an employee working. Our different states can have very differing laws.

And you need one that will be applicable to that executive.

Hopefully you know that "at will" exists in 49 of 50 states and many employees, including a lot of "executive" types have no employment contracts. Some have something called a "non compete agreement" but again the enforcability of NCAs is state specific.

This is not a "do it yourself" project. A poorly written contract can have vast negative consequences on a company. I would suggest an attorney who is familiar with both your country's employment laws and US/state employment laws. A pound or two spent now will save you millions later!
