Global HR...how do you stay current?

I am looking for insight on how to stay abreast of issues related to global human resources matters. Anyone who works in a global HR capacity could possibly answer this question...what do you do to keep yourself current and how do you translate that knowledge to your colleagues or senior management?

The short answer is that you have to do a great deal of reading to stay current. I subscribe to a number of services, scan the article titles, read the ones that are of interest and if worthy, pass some of them on.

I agree with current readings. Also make sure you are on the mailing list for the top Global HR firms (and even the ones that are major in the major countries in which you do business). For example, Mercer often puts out articles on Global HR issues.
