I have worked 4/10's and found that by the end of the day - before my shift ended - I was mentally drained, done and non-productive. It's too hard on the body and the mind. I strictly prohibit these schedules. My staff and I like the 9/4 schedule better. Working only 1/2 day on Fridays is a nice perk for all of us. 9 hours with two 15-minute breaks still allows them to be productive without falling asleep. |
