We have an overseas office in Vienna, Austria, staffed by Viennese locals. We are trying to tailor employment policies to match our domestic practices, but have been told that vacation is subject to local law.

The Austrian Trade Council has given me accrual information, i.e. 30 days per year is standard, but I need to know whether "carryover" of unused vacation from year to year is regulated. Is there a "cap" on the number of days, or the length of time, vacation may be carried over?
