Someone mentioned to me a CD-ROM version of the EEO-1 form. The program evidently takes one through the entire process. Has anyone heard of this?

I've been told that there are software programs to help with the EEO-1 (although I've never seen/used them). The program specifically mentioned to me is HRIS-Pro, although there may well be others. If you're interested, check with the EEOC-- they may be willing to send you the EEO-1 on a disk.

There are a couple of others:
1. ABRA Suite provides one with their HRIS
2. Complete AAP has it also; this is a more comprehensive program for those companies who must have on file an AAP. Not only does it provide numbers for the various required reports, it has a MS Word template of all the text required. I've used it for multiple locations of one company as we did a lot of government contracts.
Check out the section of this Workforce website, workforce tools, it provides a good list of HRIS software and what it can do. Company websites are also provided and many times you can download or request demos.

The EEOC also has a program to complete the actual EEO-1 form on your computer. They send you the disk, you do it on your computer, and send the disk back to the EEOC. Contact the EEOC to get your copy on disk.
