Are there any cases where it has been determined that Crohn's Disease is covered under the ADA or any indications that it might be?

To be an individual with a disability, the employee must (i) have a physical or mental impairment that substantially limits one or more of his or her major life activities; have a record of such an impairment, or (iii) be regarded as having such an impairment. Accordingly, the inquiry is not whether a particular disease is covered per se, but whether an individual, given the facts and circumstances of their particular medical condition, is disabled. Your applicable state law may vary with the ADA on this issue.
