Are there any laws or regulations for time limit on how long an employee can be placed on unpaid leave for misconduct investigations? I've researched various case decisions on suspensions and administrative leave - it varies.

Upon completing a misconduct investigation, what is the max allowed time an employer has before providing a hearing to the suspended employee?

There are no limits on how long an employee may be placed on unpaid disciplinary leave unless there's a collective bargaining agreement which specifies a limit.

There is no requirement for an employee to provide an employee with a hearing, again barring a collective bargaining agreement to the contrary.
