Here is the ARRA Cobra link to the General Notice to be sent to the former employee and beneficiaries - http://www.dol.gov/ebsa/COBRAmodelnotice.html
Assuming your organization is covered, I believe you will find that the beneficiary (as dfined as a "qualified beneficiary") will be allowed to continue under ARRA Cobra even after the former employee loses Cobra coverage, for the duration of the ARRA Cobra period. Hope this helps. |
