When are employees eligible for unemployment benefits in California? I know in Illinois once an employee completes 30 days (last employer is responsible for payment) they are eligible for unemployment

When are employees eligible for unemployment benefits in California? I know in Illinois once an employee completes 30 days (last employer is responsible for payment) they are eligible for unemployment. What is California state law? I have tried to research this, but I have been unsuccessful in my endeavors.
