Here is a scenario where I need some help:

Employee works both at Business A (full time) and Business B (part time).

Business A purchases a majority share of ownership in a Business B.

Employer intends to operate Business A and Business B as separate entities
(Separate payroll, separate manager in charge of each business, separate HR policies, etc.)

Employee wishes to continue to work at Business A and Business B.

Is the employee owned overtime for total hours worked between Business A and Business B?

Like HRPro stated on your other question and I responded after, I strongly suggest seeking legal counsel as it will depend on specific facts and circumstances that you would not want to post on a public forum.

Don't forget about other issues such as FMLA coverage, 401k controlled groups and other such issues. Not all will be handled the same unfortunately.
