We specialize in retention and have worked with manufacturing production and welders.
Have you asked them before they leave? What are you doing when they are hired as far as training (and do you do a weld test b4 they are hired?), and reference checking? How good are the trainers and managers? What is your competition doing? We do exit interviews after employees leave the company, it is worth contacting them to get at some of your turnover reasons to stop the flow.
