Our twp recruiters do a majority on the internet and they currently report to the COO but will eventually come under the HR umbrella. The previous HR manager didn't like recruiting so she didn't want to participate but it's one of my strengths so we're going to fit it in. We've found that recruiting salaries are all over the board. In No Cal it can range from $25/hour to $100/hour. Dot coms are paying exhorbitant salaries due to their need to get up and running as quickly as possible. Check out salary.com for information, they have 3 levels of recruiter on their salary info.
