Does anyone have any tips on conducting a local market analysis of wages and benefits for Human Resources Management and Consulting positions?

I have 12 years progressive experience in HR & Management, but do not have my degree, although I am slowly working on it. I am trying to obtain backup documentation to support and justify a salary increase with my current company or just to let me know what I am worth. Every posting out there seems to lean more toward education requirements than experience. I am having a very difficult time marketing myself because of this. Can anyone offer help or advise?
